58 Umpires at the Head of the Charles
The 44th Head of the Charles Regatta was held this past weekend in Cambridge, Mass. I helped with transportation of the 130 umpires whose task was to assure a fair and safe event. The podcast includes excerpts from meetings of the umpires and scenes from the races that I found on YouTube. My favorites are the coxswain-cam videos uploaded by Mike Quinn. They give an up-close view of the Upper Valley Rowing Foundation (Hanover, NH) entry in the Women's Master Eights race.
iMovie 8's iPhone "share" setting is trimming off a bit from the top of the frame, and I can't figure out how to fix it. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
