51 Tale of Two Beaches

Ever since I was a boy, I've been coming to Ocean Park, Maine, a Baptist retreat community founded in 1881. What's particularly cool about Ocean Park, I've always thought, is that the very next beach is Old Orchard, a decidedly secular enclave of fried dough, scary rides, and questionable games of chance. This podcast is an appreciation of both versions of Maine in the summer.

Music for this episode is "Summer of Life" by Peopod, courtesy of the Podsafe Music Network.

Tech Note: this is the first Video Pod Chronicles I have created with Final Cut Express, and I was thrilled with the extra tools I had to play with, compared with my much-loved but limited iMovie HD 6. The video clips were shot with a Sanyo Xacti HD2.
