My daughter took me to a most unsual family restaurant this week, the Full Moon Restaurant at 344 Huron Ave., Cambridge, MA. (617-354-6699) Opened more than 10 years ago by Sarah Wheaton and her sister Cary, the Full Moon offers gourmet fare, spirits, and a play area for toddlers. It's a unique concept that has generated awards and notice from Gourmet Magazine, the New York Times and Boston area publications. My grandson showed me around the place, and I had a chance to interview Sarah and a couple of other customers. If you're a parent of a toddler in the Boston area, don't miss this local original! They serve lunch Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 2:30 p.m., dinner every day 5 to 9 p.m., and brunch Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
