A quick summary of the points I made at the National Association of Independent Artists (NAIA) meeting of art show directors and artists, inviting them to jump into the worlds of new media, mobile, social networks, and virtual worlds for the benefit of their shows and their art. This podcast episode includes some reactions to the material and scenes from our visit to Second Life, which was a big hit with the audience. I was brought to Lancaster, PA, to deliver the talk by my friends at the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF). I had a ball and, as always, learned more in preparing for the talk than I was able to impart.

Dude I so love the windows you create in your world. Loved the responses that artist friends had. Great to see the medium you shared was so well received by them.

I'm the artist inside Second Life that Len talked to and gave a little tour of the artist colony, Artropolis. The image of me that was used in the video (great job btw!!) isn't what I look like. We call it "ruthed", because sometimes on some systems everyone looks like female avatars, lol.

In any event, if anyone wants to know more about the art scene inside Second Life, you can contact me through my website at http://strikingsolid.com, thank you!!
