My trip to Sunshine Dental in Lakewood, Colorado, opened my eyes to the art involved in creating a new crown, especially when the patient's teeth bear the marks of childhood prescriptions for tetracycline. Joanna Lashbrook, owner of Sunshine Dental, looked at my smile like an artist, detecting purple hues and other surprises.
