Happy Hatter
Tilley Endurables surprised the hell out of me by actually sending me a complimentary brand new hat after I mailed them the old friend that fell apart in the dryer in Maine. The new one arrived yesterday and is seen here on a bust made of me by Alessandro Emmanuel, a Denver sculptor. It will take a few years before the new T3 has any of the character of the hat that I wore all over the world for 10 years. This Tilley business is kind of a cult. They are made by a Canadian family company, and you can recognize them on other cult members, which usually results in a wink and a "Nice hat" comment. I was a fan before; now I'm a believer.
